Today we went to Delco Park and met an Author named Rob Boley. He talked to us about metaphors and gave us examples of some. Then he asked us to go off by ourselves for twenty minutes and write down a few metaphors that pertain to nature. After we all came back some people shared their metaphors. Some of my metaphors were,
"The smell of nature is richer than Chocolate cake."
"Waters deeper than my soul."
"Branches reaching out to the sky."
"Birds singing sweet lullabies."
The inspiration behind these metaphors came from sitting on the rocks next to the water. I could hear the birds, water, and smell the fresh air. When we finished talking to Rob we were able to go walk around with our friends before lunch. I sat on the rock wall by the water and watched my surroundings.

I mostly just talked to my friend about what were seeing. We kept seeing these really huge fish jump out of the water and they made really big splashes. We also watched a crane fly across the water and it looked very majestic.
